I changed banks, what do I need to do?

If you changed banks or in case your bank merged into another bank, you can most likely continue using the app if you:

  • have a Bancontact card,
  • or/and have a bank account at a Belgian bank.

In most cases, your bank card details will automatically be updated for your new card in case of expiration or malfunction. In other cases (lost or theft), you need to relink your card to the app. Here’s how you can do so.

You will have to change your bank account (IBAN) linked to the app.

To do so, you first need to delete your bank account currently linked to the app. You can do so via the settings menu in the app. Tap on 'Delete my account in all apps'. Then follow the 3 steps to link your bank account, as can be found here (scroll down).
