Customers scan the QR code with their payment app, enter the amount to pay, and confirm the purchase. You can track the payment status through the Payconiq merchant portal, accessible via your smartphone, computer, or tablet.

Here's how it works

The customer scans the QR code on your sticker with their payment app

... or selects your shop on the Payconiq by Bancontact app.

You tell them the amount to be paid.

The customer enters this amount into the app and confirms the payment using their PIN, fingerprint, or facial recognition.

You receive payment confirmation via the merchant portal, with the customer receiving theirs through the app.

Get paid remotely

You get more than just a QR code—your business will also appear in the Merchant Directory in the Payconiq by Bancontact app. This means customers don’t even need to scan the QR code. All they have to do is select your business from the directory, enter the amount, confirm, and the payment is complete! 

Monitor live transactions

Incoming transactions appear immediately in your merchant portal, which is an online dashboard accessible from any device at portal.payconiq.com. You can also grant employees access to specific features.

Get paid with meal vouchers

Customers can pay with meal vouchers using the QR code. However, you'll need to request this feature separately. Learn more on the meal vouchers information page.

Fixed price

Are all your products the same price? If so, select a sticker with a fixed amount during setup. This way, your customers won’t need to enter the amount— they can simply confirm the payment in their app. If your prices change, you can easily update them via the merchant portal.

You can select a QR code with a fixed amount and/or a message when submitting your request.

Grouped payments

Simplify your process by grouping all transactions from one day into a single payout the next. This makes it easy to match the daily total in your merchant portal with the payment received in your bank account the following day.

Easy payment reconciliation

Monitor your daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly revenue using the Payconiq merchant portal. The download feature also allows you to export a detailed list of all your transactions within a chosen timeframe, making it easy to reconcile incoming payments.
