UBO and identity cards
To prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorism, under European and Belgian laws and regulations, Payconiq International N.V. is obliged to check the identity of all users of the Payconiq payment service - including all companies that offer Payconiq as a means of payment. These checks are part of the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) investigation. For these checks to be carried out in line with all statutory requirements, we also need the identity documents of all the ultimate beneficiaries in your business.
All personal data and documents relating to you and your (co-)business owners are processed and stored securely.
You will find more information about this legislation and the obligations of financial institutions such as Payconiq on the Federal Public Service Economy website.
