What is an API-key and what should I do with it?
An API only applies to integrated payment solutions. The classic sticker, pre-defined sticker and Payconiq GO do not use an API. Therefore, you cannot obtain an API key for these solutions.
An API key is a unique identifier used to access an API. It is used as a form of authentication, allowing developers to be authorized to use the functionalities or data available via the API.
Do you already have access to the new Merchant Portal?
Then you can find your API key under “Shops and products”. Go to the product for which you have an API, click on “API key management” and then on “Show API key”.
Do you still have access to the old Merchant Portal?
Then you will receive the API key and additional instructions by e-mail. If you have not received the API key and instructions after activation, or if you do not have access to your API details via email, please contact us.
